Imperial Tigers girls basketball late comeback not enough to steal title game

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - San Luis boys soccer dropped its third championship game in the last four years after holding a 1-0 lead for majority of regulation.

They let up a goal in the final minutes of regular time and another in the first few minutes of overtime to lose to Liberty 2-1.

In the CIF SDS Division I girls basketball championship game, Carlsbad got out to a massive lead early, but Imperial was able to crawl its way back into the contest.

Unfortunately, the late-game effort was not enough as they fell 54-50.
