Somerton wrestling competes in Southwest Shootout Duals, Arizona Cardinals blown out by Los Angeles Rams.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - The Imperial Tigers comfortably beat the Brawley Wildcats 63-45 in the Tiger Classic to take home the tournament championship.

Somerton wrestling traveled to Rio Rancho, New Mexico for the Southwest Shootout Duals. The boys finished in eighth place and the girls finished in ninth place.

Annette Preston won the 190 lb championship on the girls side, while boys Jayden Preston (126 lbs.) and Kenny Garcia (135 lbs.) went undefeated.

The Arizona Cardinals took an ugly loss at the hands of the Los Angeles Rams 45-17 and fall to 3-10 on the year. They currently hold the eighth overall draft pick.
