CBS 13 Sports: Dodgers tie World Series up with late inning offensive burst

The Gila Ridge Hawks keep their impressive season going with a road win over one-loss Sierra Linda, Antelope's Ozzy Martin makes one of the best plays of the week with a coast-to-coast pick six, Arizona State football loses to Houston and their bid at the College Football Playoff with it.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 5-1 in Game 2 of the World Series.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto threw a complete game for his second consecutive playoff start, becoming the first pitcher to do so since Curt Schilling with the Diamondbacks in 2001.

The Gila Ridge Hawks came out on top against the Sierra Linda Crimson Knights 33-18 to advance to 8-1 and take on Cibola for the Desert Southwest Conference Championship next week.

Antelope senior safety made a terrific play in his team's Friday night loss at Trivium Prep, intercepting a pass in the end zone and taking it 100 yards for a touchdown.

Arizona State fell to Houston 24-16 and falls to 5-3 on the season. Sam Leavitt was injured in the first quarter on a run down the field and replaced by Jeff Sims. Leavitt came back but was replaced once again in the fourth quarter by Sims.

With the loss, the Sun Devils need major help to get to the Big 12 Championship and have a shot at the College Football Playoffs.
