CBS 13 SPORTS: Padres pick up win, Local soccer program heading to Florida

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - While the Padres were powered to victory by a three-run homer from Fernando Tatis Jr. Saturday night in San Diego, a youth soccer team from Yuma is chasing a championship of its own.

Yuma Madrid, made up of players from across Arizona, is heading to the National President's Cup in Tampa, Florida, after winning both the state title and the Far West Regionals.

Eight players from Yuma County make up the largest share of the roster, and with this being their final season together, the team is determined to make it count.
