Brawley hands Holtville their second IVL loss in a row, Wildcats remain perfect in league play

BRAWLEY, Calif. ( KYMA, KECY-TV ) The Holtville Vikings baseball team was blanked at Petco Park in San Diego on Wednesday by the defending IVL champions, the Southwest Eagles 2-0. On Thursday, the Vikings still had a hard time finding their bats as they were blanked again by Brawley 4-0. The Wildcats continued their strong season and improve to 11-4 on the season and 3-0 in IVL play.

The Calexico boys tennis team won the IVL championship with a 10-8 win over Vincent Memorial.

In girls softball, Cibola shutout Kofa 10-0.
