High school playoff action is in full swing

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Cibola Girls soccer defeated the Cesar Chavez Champions 4-3 on Thursday night at Raider Field to advance to the 6A State Championship Bracket.

Gila Ridge wouldn't have the same luck, falling 1-1 (3-2) in penalties to Browne on the road.

On the court, San Pasqual beat Ray 39-34 to advance to the 1A State Championship Bracket.

Still in the regular season, Cibola beat Gila Ridge to win the region and secure a spot in the 6A play-in bracket.
