YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Leonel Rodriguez cemented his name in Kofa Kings soccer history, scoring twice to become the single-season scoring record holder with 38 goals at Kofa High School during their 4-0 win over Yuma on Tuesday night at Irv Pallack Field.
Across town, the Arizona Western College Matadors opened up their season with a 5-0 defeat to the South Mountain Community College Cougars. They rebounded in game two of a doubleheader, beating the Cougars 10-7 later in the afternoon.
