The City of Somerton achieves local sports milestone after opening park

SOMERTON, Ariz. (KYMA) - The City of Somerton recently unveiled Perricone Park and is hosting their first soccer tournament their in the parks young history over the weekend.

Down south in Mexico, the Aguilas are preparing for the semifinals.

On the national stage, the College Football Championship is set. The Indiana Hoosiers will travel south to take on the Miami Hurricanes at Hard Rock Stadium on Jan. 19.

Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns eked out a close 112-107 win over the New York Knicks on Friday night.
