The Shamrocks and Hawks won their final games of the season in straight sets and now wait for AIA Playoff Rankings to release

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - The Yuma Catholic Shamrocks beat the Chino Valley Cougars in straight sets on Wednesday Night at Carol McElhaney Oden Gym.

In other Yuma County volleyball news, the Gila Ridge Hawks also ended their season on a high note, beating Cibola 3-0 at Raider Gym.

For the teams in the Valley, the story would be different. Both the Holtville Vikings and the Central Spartans would lost in the Division III CIF San Diego Section Playoffs.

AWC Women's Soccer beat Mohave College 5-0 to advance to the Region I Finals.

The Dodgers lost Game 5 of the World Series 6-1. Game 6 is in Toronto on Friday at 5 p.m.
