NBC 11 Sports: Sullivan signs to Cal Poly, Gila Ridge falls a point short of first win

YUMA, Ariz., (KYMA, KECY) - Central Spartans' own Charlie Sullivan stole the day Wednesday by taking his football talents to the next level, committing to play DI at Cal Poly.

Gila Ridge boys basketball fell short of winning their first game of the season, after letting a 12-point first quarter lead slip away.

Back to the Imperial Valley, a big night for Holtville as Kamryn Walker eclipsed the 1,000 point mark for her career in the Vikings 56-30 win over Lincoln.

In more hoops action, the San Pasqual girls team locked down on defense against North Valley Christian, winning 46-8 for their sixth win of the year. On the other side, the boys lose in lopsided fashion.
