NBC 11 Sports: A busy night in prep sports

Cibola and Gila Ridge girls soccer roll, San luis and Gila Ridge boys soccer also win on Tuesday night

YUMA, Ariz. ( KYMA, KECY-TV ) - The Cibola Lady Raiders soccer team rolled into Yuma High School and ran away with an 8-0 win over the Lady Criminals. Itzel Meza had three goals and Lailah Solomon had two goals for Cibola.

The Cibola boys basketball team lost a heartbreaker at home to Dobson 56-55. Jared Arias led the Raiders with 23 points and Derek Stanley added 13 points.

In boys soccer, the San Luis Sidewinders defeated Mesa 5-2. Five different Sidewinders found the back of the net. San Luis trailed 1-0 but had a great response from the players. Scorers were Luis Medina, Misael Meza, Oscar Mejia, Diego Vélez and Brian Ortega. The player of the game was Luis Meneses with three assists.
