LeBron James’ All-NBA streak to end

(CNN, KYMA) - All-star LeBron James won't be taking part in the All-NBA awards this season.

James' team, the Los Angeles Lakers, announced Tuesday the 41-year-old would sit out his 18th game this season with an injury.

This makes it impossible for him to reach at least 65 games played to be eligible for year-end awards. It's the first time since 2005 that James will miss the post-season honors.

James is averaging 21.8 points, 5.7 rebounds and 6.8 assists this season, his 23rd.
