Suns dominate 125-108 on road against Lakers
Dillon Brooks' 33 points leads Phoenix to a statement victory over Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES (KYMA) - The Phoenix Suns put together one of their strongest road performances of the season Monday night, cruising to a 125–108 win over the Los Angeles Lakers at Crypto.com Arena.
Luka Dončić led all scorers with 38 points and added 11 rebounds, posting a double-double while keeping the Lakers within reach for most of the night, but Phoenix's offensive firepower proved too much down the stretch.
Dillon Brooks paced the Suns with 33 points, finding his rhythm early and carrying it through all four quarters.
Collin Gillespie added 28 points, giving Phoenix another reliable scoring option as Phoenix pulled away in the second half.
With the win, the Suns improved to 13–9, continuing to climb in the Western Conference standings after an up-and-down start to the season.
The Lakers, meanwhile, drop just their fifth game of the year but still sit firmly in second place in the Western Conference.
Phoenix continues their road trip, heading to Houston for a game this Friday, while the Lakers aim to regroup against the Toronto Raptors on Thursday.
