Dodgers struggle against Blue Jays rookie sensation Trey Yesavage

Los Angeles lost 6-1 to Toronto in the Dodgers' final home game of the 2025 season

LOS ANGELES (KYMA) - Los Angeles couldn't crack Toronto Blue Jays rookie phenom Trey Yesavage, as he rung up 12 Dodgers, the most strikeouts by a rookie in a World Series game on Wednesday night at Dodger Stadium.

The young buck would allow one run, en route to a 6-1 victory where the Blue Jays bats were alive.

On the first pitch of the game, Davis Schneider took Blake Snell yard. Moments later, Vladamir Guerrero Junior stepped up to the plate and added to their lead with a solo shot as well.

Kike Hernandez would homer, for one of Los Angeles' four hits, but it wouldn't be enough.

The two teams return to Toronto for Game 6, where the Jays are one win away from their first title in 32 years.

First pitch will be at 5 p.m. on Friday.
