Las Vegas Aces celebrate third WNBA championship in four years

LAS VEGAS (NBC, KYMA) - The Las Vegas Aces celebrated their third WNBA championship in four years Friday night on the Vegas Strip.

The victory cemented them as the newest dynasty in the WNBA. Led by both regular season and finals' MVP A'ja Wilson, the Aces put together a 9-3 post season record and swept the Phoenix Mercury for the title.

The Aces actually had a losing record back on July 25, standing at just 12-13, before winning 18 of their last 19 regular season games, including a 16 game win streak.

The Aces celebrated Friday night before looking to continue their dynasty next season.
