Carroll and Suarez join Marte as Diamondbacks’ All-Star Trio

PHOENIX (KYMA, KECY) - The Arizona Diamondbacks will have three players in Atlanta for the All-Star Game and each one has taken a different road to get there.
On Sunday, Corbin Carroll and Eugenio Suarez were named to the National League squad as reserves, joining previously announced starter Ketel Marte.
It's a satisfying return for Carroll, who battled through a frustrating 2024 season and a recent hand injury to get back to All-Star form.
He's among the league leaders in triples and continues to be a spark plug in the Arizona lineup.
For Suarez, the selection caps a remarkable turnaround. A year ago, his future in Arizona was uncertain. Now, he's one of the team's most dangerous bats, launching 28 homers with 73 RBIs in the first half.
Marte, a fan favorite and consistent presence in the middle of the order, rounds out the trio.
While no decision has been made about the Home Run Derby, both Marte and Suarez have expressed interest if the invite comes.
