Padres get walked off in the ninth fall 4-3 to Brewers

MILWAUKEE (KYMA, KECY) - After San Diego's Luis Arraez tied the game with a two-out, two-run double in the top of the ninth, Caleb Durbin answered immediately with a leadoff home run in the bottom half sending the first pitch from Padres reliever David Morgan over the wall in left-center to give Milwaukee a 4-3 win.
It was just Durbin's second career homer and his first since April.
The Brewers had taken the lead in the eighth with a sacrifice fly from Rhys Hoskins and an RBI single from Isaac Collins. Milwaukee had earlier tied it in the seventh when Jake Bauers' fly ball plated Collins after an error extended the inning.
San Diego starter Stephen Kolek pitched 5 2/3 scoreless innings, while José Quintana held the Padres to one run across five frames for the Brewers. Trevor Megill (1-2) picked up the win despite blowing the save.
The Padres fall to 36-27, and trail the Dodgers by just one game in the NL West standings.
