Scottie Scheffler captures first PGA Championship title
CHARLOTTE, N.C.(KYMA, KECY) - Scottie Scheffler added another major championship to his résumé Sunday, winning the 2025 PGA Championship in dominant fashion.
The world's top-ranked golfer closed with an even-par 71 to win by five strokes over Bryson DeChambeau, Davis Riley, and Harris English.
This marks Scheffler's first Wanamaker Trophy and third career major, adding to his two Masters victories.
Scheffler's win makes him just the third golfer since World War II to claim 15 PGA Tour wins and three majors before age 29, joining legends Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods.
Despite struggles early in his final round, Scheffler responded with precision on the back nine to seal the win at Quail Hollow.
