Chargers rookies report to training camp in less than one week

Bolts rookies report to camp on July 19, veterans follow on July 26th at Jack Hammett Sports Complex

COSTA MESA, Calif. ( KYMA, KECY-TV ) - The Los Angeles Chargers are one of the first NFL teams to start NFL training camp on July 19th. Only the Las Vegas Raiders and Buffalo Bills will start earlier with their rookies reporting on July 18th. The Chargers veterans will soon follow to the Jack Hammett Sports Complex on July 26th.

The Los Angeles Chargers will play their first preseason game by hosting the Rams on Saturday, August 13th at 7:00 p.m. followed by the Dallas Cowboys on August 20th. The Chargers will end the preseason on the road when they travel to New Orleans to take on the Saints on August 27th. today announced the date and time of their final preseason contest in New Orleans as well as the club’s joint practice dates with the Dallas Cowboys.

Additionally, the Bolts will host Dallas for joint practices on Wednesday, August 17th and Thursday, August 18th at the Jack Hammett Sports Complex in Costa Mesa. The Chargers have previously hosted joint practices at Jack Hammett Sports Complex against the New Orleans Saints (2017-19) and San Francisco 49ers (2021).
