Caroline Harvey is ready to use her elite stick skills and her mitts if it comes to it
One of the nations best female skates is juiced for the 2026 Winter Olympic games
MILAN, Italy (KYMA) - One of the best female hockey players in the country is preparing to hit the ice, and there's a chance she's using more than her legs to keep her upright.
At a young age, Caroline Harvey learned to box, which has carried over into her illustrious hockey career, especially against Canada.
"I got into a little bit of a tussle with one of the Canadians," Harvey said. "It was somewhat of a fight. Our helmets were on, but we were throwing punches."
Harvey was a fan of the boxing, but her mom wasn't.
"My mom didn’t want me to get into the actual fighting part of it," Harvey said. "I was just training at the time, and I think she was afraid I was going to start wanting to fight."
Whether she wants to fight or not is up in the air, but one thing is for sure, the Olympian will be able to protect herself on the ice.
