Arizona Western set to hold summer basketball camp June 1-4

Learn basketball fundamentals from Matador coaches and players

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Arizona Western College is set to host its 2026 basketball camp from June 1-4 at Castle Dome Middle School.

The four-day camp will run daily from 9 a.m. to noon and is designed to help local youth players develop basketball fundamentals through instruction from Arizona Western coaches and players.

Pre-registration for the camp is open through May 28 for $125. Registration on the first day of camp will cost $150.

You can pay in advance by calling (928) 317-7666 or in person on AWC's Main Campus at the Cashier Desk in the 3C Building.

Otherwise, you can pay the day of registration with cash or check only.

Camp organizers said participation is limited to 125 athletes, and spots are filling quickly.

The camp is part of Arizona Western’s continued effort to provide opportunities for young athletes in the Yuma community to improve their skills and learn the game from collegiate players and coaches.
