Rev your engine! Red Bull Sand Scramble returns to the Glamis Dunes
The thrilling UTV race featuring competition amongst professional and recreational races returns
GLAMIS, Calif., (KYMA, KECY) - After a successful debut last year, the Red Bull Sand Scramble UTV race returns to the iconic Glamis Sand Dunes on Saturday, December 10th.
The epic single-day event for recreational and professional racers will come together to celebrate the passion of off-road racing by competing in a custom-built 2.8-mile off-roadcourse.
The format will remain the same, but the racers will encounter a fresh course with new ridges, obstacles and technicalities - creating another wild day.
The Red Bull media team was kind enough to allow media to join them for a view of the events the day before - including letting us do a test ride with Red Bull Off-Road Junior team member, Seth Quintero.
Red Bull Sand Scramble is the last event of the year as part of a multi-stop original collection of SXS races in the Red Bull Scramble Series for amateur and professional racers that began in the Midwest.
Two competitive race classes are offered with the SXS Pro class for more experienced racers and SXS Sportsman class for amateur off-road enthusiasts. Podium finishers will be awarded a series of prizes including a $5,000 Polarisvoucher, BFGoodrich Tires voucher, KMC Wheels wheel set and a Wolverineboots voucher.
The races will began at 7:45 am until 4:30 pm Pacific Standard Time.
