Yuma Criminals handle Kofa Kings 64-50 to win second straight

The Crims had their way with the rock tonight, scoring a season high 64 en route to their fifth straight win against the Kings

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - The Yuma Criminals took care of business against the Kofa Kings Tuesday night at Bob McLendon Court at Palace Gym during a 64-50 victory.

Elmer Emerson led the way for the Crims, scoring not only a team high,, but a game high 20 points in what was Yuma's highest scoring contest of the season.

With the win, the Criminals secure their second straight win, and five straight over the Kings.

Despite the score seeming lopsided, the Kings hung around. Samuel Nunez dropped a team high 12 points and added seven rebounds, also the most for Kofa.

The Crims will take on Cibola next Monday at home, while the Kings will hit the road and face Red Mountain this Friday.
