Southwest narrowly beats Yuma in 2-1 defensive match

The Eagles short road trip ended with a victory over the Criminals

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - The Southwest Eagles eked out a close 2-1 defensive win against the Yuma Criminals at Curley Culp Memorial Stadium at Doan Field on Tuesday night.

The match started off slow with zero goals scored in the first half, but just minutes into the second, the Eagles cracked the scoreboard.

Yuma has a week long break until their next game at Brawley, while Southwest continues their road trip to Vincent Memorial on Thursday.
