Kofa Girl's Basketball defeated Westwood xx to xx
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - The Kofa Kings beat the Westwood Warriors in a close season opener 43-38 at Rillos Gym on Wednesday night.
The Kings would jump out to an early lead, backed by Kaitlyn Estrada's 10 points and Alexis Barbosa's 13, but the Warriors wouldn't give in, eventually only losing by five.
Kofa starts their season 1-0 for the first time since 2021 as they prepare for their second game of the year against La Joya Community this Friday at home.
