Southwest Baseball falls short in playoff heartbreaker
CORONADO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - A strong season came to a sudden end for Southwest baseball Saturday.
The Eagles fell 3-2 to Coronado in a closely fought playoff matchup.
After scoring 18 runs in their previous game, the Eagles struggled to generate offense against a sharp Islanders squad.
Southwest wraps up the year with a 23-6 record, while Coronado advances in the postseason at 22-9.
