Yuma Catholic Golf shines at Metro Invitational in Sun City

YUMA, Ariz., (KYMA, KECY) - Yuma Catholic golfers turned in strong performances this weekend at the Metro Invitational, held at Sun City and Palmbrook Country Clubs.

Sophomore Meyer Shill finished 12th overall, helping the boys team finish 4th in a competitive field of 16 schools.

On the girls' side, senior Ellie Felix impressed with rounds of 68 and 79, securing 10th place overall and 2nd among female golfers.

With Felix graduating, the Shamrocks will rely on underclassmen like Shill to carry the program’s success forward next season.
