Yuma baseball shuts out Cibola

Lujan tosses a one-hitter to lead Yuma to a shut out win over Cibola.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Eli Lujan tossed seven scoreless innings to lead the Yuma Criminals to a 4-0 victory over the Cibola Raiders at Curley Culp Memorial Stadium on Monday.

Yuma moves to 4-0. Cibola falls to 3-4.

The game was scoreless going into the 4th inning. In the bottom of the 4th, Lujan hit a two-run RBI single to give Yuma a 2-0 lead. Yuma would tack on two more runs in the sixth inning to win the game 2-0.

For Yuma, Lujan only surrendered one hit in the seven scoreless innings.

On Thursday, Yuma will play at Desert Sunrise and Cibola will play at Rincon/University.
