Tigers use late rally to steal win from Spartans

The Imperial Tigers baseball team scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh to earn first IVL win

IMPERIAL, Calif. ( KYMA, KECY-TV) - Heading into Tuesday night's game in Imperial, the Imperial Tigers and Central Spartans were the lone baseball team in the Imperial Valley League without a league win. Heading onto the bottom of the seventh inning, Central held a 3-1 lead. The Tigers rallied to score three runs and a thrilling 4-3 walk off victory. The win improves Imperial to 1-2 in IVL play and 7-13-1 overall. The loss drops Central to 0-4 in league play and 11-13 overall.
