IVC Volleyball hosts Palomar in conference duel

The Desert Warriors fought hard in a 3-1 defeat to the Comets in their first game of conference play

IMPERIAL, Calif. (KYMA) - Imperial Valley College fell to Palomar College, 3-1 in a volleyball battle, but they didn't go down without a fight.

The Desert Warriors lost the first two sets right out of the gate, but locked in for their third set, beating the Comets 25-23, to go to a fourth set.

IVC would ultimately fall 25-23 in that fourth set, and lose their third straight game, settling with a 1-4 record.

Their next game is at Cuyamaca College this Friday at 6:00 p.m.
