Former Cibola runner Meyer-Wills helps Stephen F. Austin win conference title

HOUSTON (KYMA, KECY) - Former Cibola High School standout Bennett Meyer-Wills is making a name for himself on the NCAA Division I stage.

Running for Stephen F. Austin State University, Meyer-Wills competed in the 2025 Southland Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Houston, Texas.

He scored points for the Lumberjacks in the 1500-meter race, contributing to the team's victory over Lamar University.

Stephen F. Austin claimed the conference title with a final score of 146 to 113.
