ASU pulls off April Fool’s “Maroon Field” prank
Arizona State football posts a mockup of an all-maroon field that is "coming this fall."
TEMPE, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Arizona State Football's Instagram account caused quite a stir with their April Fool's Day prank featuring an all-maroon field "coming this fall."
While the prank fooled some, it also fueled conversations from fans who were open to the idea of a colored field, much like that of Boise State.
Head football coach Kenny Dillingham said the idea, "was atrocious," and that he wasn't on board with the April Fool's Day prank.
