AWC volleyball falls a home, extends losing streak to nine

YUMA, Ariz. ( KYMA, KECY-TV ) - It's been a while since the Arizona Western volleyball team has tasted victory. Late August to be exact. The Lady Matadors hoped some home cookin' the "The House" on the final day of summer would be the recipe to get back into the win column. It started out well with AWC winning the first set. After dropping the second set, AWC rallied to win the third. Eastern Arizona answered with a fourth set win before taking the fifth, sending AWC to their ninth loss in a row.
