Matadors dominate IVC, win third straight

Paolo Grizzetti nets first mutli-goal game as AWC rolls 10-0 over Imperial Valley College

YUMA, Ariz. ( KYMA, KECY-TV ) - The Arizona Western Matadors men's soccer team welcomed Imperial Valley College to Matador Field on Tuesday night and the reception for IVC was not an enjoyable one.

After a 5-2 loss to Southern Nevada in the second game of the season knocked the Matadors from #2 in the national polls to #10, Arizona Western has won two games in a row. On Tuesday night they extended that win streak to three with a 10-0 shutout over Imperial Valley College.

The Matadors will be back at home this Saturday, September 10th when they host South Mountain at 4:30 pm at Matadors Soccer Field in the Region I opener.
