Jones scores 17 as Southern Illinois beats Evansville 80-53

EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Led by Lance Jones’ 17 points, the Southern Illinois Salukis defeated the Evansville Purple Aces 80-53. The Salukis improved to 5-2 with the win and the Purple Aces fell to 2-7.
