Rutgers jumps out early, routs Wagner 66-7

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (AP) — Tight end Johnny Langan threw and caught a touchdown pass as Rutgers rolled to a 66-7 rout of Wagner. Kyle Monangai had a 2-yard touchdown run on Rutger’s opening series. Evan Simon threw a 40-yard touchdown pass, highly-touted recruit Gavin Wimsatt added a 41-yarder and Langan connected with Isaiah Washington on a 43-yard touchdown pass as the Scarlet Knights (2-0) scored on their first four possessions. Langan’s 10-yard TD catch made it 38-7 just before halftime.
