Padres get the best of the Diamondbacks

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Argentina had a first-ever comeback win in World Cup history against Egypt. No team has ever came back from a two-goal deficit after the 75th minute and won in regulation until the Argentines' 3-2 victory today to advance to the quarterfinals.

It took more knockout stage penalty kicks to decide the Switzerland-Colombia match, but it was ultimately the Europeans getting the better of the Columbians.

The Padres took a 4-1 lead in the first inning much in thanks to a three-run home run from Jake Cronenworth. The rest of the box score was filled with zeroes and ended with Mason Millers 23rd save of the season.
