Matadors baseball regains momentum in conference play, Cibola alum helps college track team win conference crown

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - The Matadors women's basketball team rolled to a 77-44 win against Central Arizona to advance to the conference finals. Both Chen Pan and Kimora Jenkins notched four three-pointers in the contest.

AWC baseball completed a clean sweep of Eastern Arizona at home today with a 3-2 win. The Gila Monsters were able to grab a run in the final frame, but Jamie Beerman's two RBIs were the difference in holding off the opponents comeback attempt.

Cibola High School alumni Bennett Meyer-Wills played a pivotal role in his track team at Stephen F. Austin State University take home the indoor track Southland Conference title this week.
