USTA says more than 27 million Americans played tennis in 2025
(CBS, KYMA) - The U.S. Tennis Association (USTA) has released numbers showing that tennis participation in the U.S. keeps going up.
The USTA says more than 27 million americans played tennis in 2025, up 1.6 million from the year before. Minorities make up a huge chunk of that growth.
Numbers are up for Black and African Americans, Hispanics and Latinos, Women, and Asian and Pacific Islanders.
The USTA says tennis participation in the U.S. has grown by 54% since 2019, close to ten million more players.
