NBC 11 Sports: Super Bowl 60 is set after conference championships

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - NFL Conference Championship weekend got started with the New England Patriots against the Denver Broncos. Weather conditions exponentially worsened but the Patriots were able to persevere 10-7 to go to their 12th Super Bowl in franchise history.

The Seattle Seahawks hosted the Los Angeles Rams for the NFC Championship and it quickly turned into a shootout. Ultimately it was the Seahawks outdueling the Rams to take a trip to Santa Clara for Super Bowl 60. Seattle will look for its second Super Bowl win in a rematch of Super Bowl 49.

Kofa High School enshrined its Hall of Fame Class of 2026 this weekend. The class includes: Moses Camarena (Class of 1966), Jerry Paulin (Class of 1966), Scott Baker (Class of 1974), Edgar Ramirez (Class of 2003), Andrea Renteria (Class of 2003), Alyssa Rhodes-Schlichter (Class of 2007), Soccer coach David Givens (1980-1989), the 1989 boys soccer state champion team and Carol Davie (supporter).
