The Chiefs are making a short move to Kansas
The Kansas City Chiefs are crossing over state lines to reside in their new home, Kansas
KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KYMA) - The Kansas City Chiefs are moving across state lines.
The NFL franchise announced Monday it plans to relocate its headquarters from Missouri to Kansas, a move that will also include the construction of a new stadium.
Because the Chiefs currently operate along the Kansas–Missouri border, the relocation will not require the team to move far geographically.
The planned stadium in Kansas will be a domed facility and is projected to be ready for the Chiefs' 2031 season.
