Mercury pull off a comeback to reach the Finals

PHOENIX (KYMA) - The Phoenix Mercury edged out the Minnesota Lynx 86‑81 in Game 4 of the WNBA semifinals to win the series 3‑1 and punch their ticket to the Finals.

The Lynx looked in control for much of the game, starting the first quarter on a 12-1 run and building a 13‑point lead heading into the fourth quarter.

Phoenix, however, never let the game slip too far away. In the final frame, the Mercury mounted a massive 31‑13 run that flipped the game in their favor.

DeWanna Bonner was huge down the stretch, scoring 11 of her 13 points in the fourth quarter. Alyssa Thomas also delivered a strong all‑around game, and Satou Sabally stepped up with over 20 points to help carry the load.

It is Phoenix's first Finals appearance since 2021 and they will face the winner of the Game 5 semifinals contest between the Las Vegas Aces and Indiana Fever.
