San Diego F.C. hosts the Seattle Sounders in MLS regular season match
San Diego F.C. host Seattle Sounders F.C. for their seventh regular season MLS as they climb the standings.
SAN DIEGO (KYMA, KECY) - San Diego Football Club (F.C.) is continuing their dominant start to the season as they beat Seattle Sounders F.C. 3-0.

It was all gas no breaks in the first half as Hirving "Chucky" Lozano made his return to the starting lineup leading SDFC to a three goal half against the Sounders.
The home team wasted no time in finding the back of the net as Lozano found captain Jeppe Tverskov first of the match in just the second minute.
At around the 41 minute mark, the San Diego team once again found themselves celebrating after midfielder Anibal Godoy scored the second goal of the match.

Minutes later, Lozano would go on to score the final goal of the game as half time came to a close.
All three goal scorers ended up scoring their first goals of the season, and for the club.
Tverskov shares how scoring the first goal so early in the game helped them the rest of the match.

"Getting that early goal is crucial for us for the rest of the game becuse we don't need to force anything in the second half, even though it's not perfect for us in the second half we still managed to control," he said.
San Diego F.C. came out in cruise control for the second half, doing their best to limit any potential chances on the field.
Following the match San Diego's head coach Mikey Varas shared how it helped to have Lozano return to the pitch and pair up with teammate Anders Dreyer.

"One plus one when it comes to Hirving and Anders working well together, does not equal two, it equals much more than two so it's always good to see them looking for each other and feeding off each other," said Varas.
Meanwhile, Lozano touched on what it meant to score his first official goal for the club.

"It was a beautiful feeling, thank God I scored a goal and that I could help my team and I thank my teammates for the opportunities that were created," said Chucky.
SDFC will head to Colorado next week where they take on the seventh place Colorado Rapids.
