Lady Kings earn bragging rights, sweep Yuma for 13th win

While the Criminals were able to make things close in the second set, the Lady Kings pulled away for the teams' final meeting of the year - 13 On Your Side's Luis Lopez reports

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Kofa volleyball (13-11) defeated Yuma (0-14) in a clean sweep on Monday night at the Bob McClendon Court.

After taking the first set 25-9, the Lady Kings got tested by the Criminals in set number two.

However, Kofa was still able to pull away for a 25-22 victory, then taking the third set 25-19 to finish off the win.

The Lady Kings have two more games left on their schedule, with the next one coming against the Crimson Rattlers at home on Oct 23.

As for Yuma, only two more games remain on their slate as well, as they continue to look for their first win of the season.

The Lady Crims will next be in action on Oct 24 when they take on Thunderbird at home.
