The Kings kept the game close early, but it would eventually be the Hawks pulling away to hand Kofa their fourth straight loss - 13 On Your Side's Luis Lopez reports

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Kofa Boys Basketball lost to Buckeye Union 55-40 at home on Wednesday night.

The Kings were able to keep the game close early, ending the first half down by just three.

A point in the game which would have remain tied had it not been for the Hawks' Jyren Griffin heaving up a buzzer beating three to end the half.

Eventually, Buckeye would pull away in the second half to finish off the win.

The loss is Kofa's fourth straight, last winning a game on Dec. 15 against San Luis.

The Kings will have a chance to snap the skid when they head to Glendale on Jan. 6 to take on the Cardinals.
