Summer League continues

3 area teams scrimmage on Tuesday

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The halfway point of the latest prep boys basketball Summer League saw minimal participation at Bob McLendon Court at the Palace Gym on Tuesday.

In addition to the host program Yuma Criminals, the Kofa Kings and Cibola Raiders also participated in the afternoon scrimmages.

The Summer League gives underclassmen from the event's participating programs to garner game experience in the offseason to help improve individual player's performance and even the team's overall chemistry.

Thursday's round of scrimmages are expected to have more participating programs.
