Another tough loss

IVC baseball swept by Palomar

EL CENTRO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - Imperial Valley College baseball is enduring a tough 2022 Spring campaign.

IVC has only mustered 5 wins in the 30 games they've played to this point, with a current 5 game losing streak.

On Friday afternoon, they were trying to prevent getting swept by Palomar in their 3 game series against the conference contending Comets.

Despite getting a 1st inning run and an additional pair of runs in the 4th, IVC's streak would grow to 6, as they suffered a tough 23-3 loss.

IVC catcher Jacob Sapp had a single, an RBI and a run scored in the 4th inning alone, while teammate Antonio Perez delivered a single and a double with his bat.

IVC has 6 games remaining in the regular season against San Diego Mesa and San Diego City in the next couple of weeks.
