IVC baseball suffers tough loss

Imperial Valley College takes 4th straight loss

EL CENTRO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - Imperial Valley College baseball is well out of playoff contention, coming off 3 consecutive losses.

IVC would square off against Pacific Coast Athletic Conference frontrunner Palomar on Tuesday afternoon.

But, they could do little to stop the Comets from bringing their bats, as Palomar would give IVC the 18-0 blowout loss.

IVC's Erick Villareal was the home team's sole bright spot, going 2 for 3 from the plate with 2 base hits.

IVC and Palomar will collide again this coming Thursday and Friday.
