1st round results

YUMA, Ariz., (KYMA, KECY) - The 1st ever NJCAA National Softball Tournament in Yuma had all the higher seeds taking opening round victories with the exception of Yavapai.

Opening Round results (May 25th):

#1 Salt Lake defeats #16 Georgia Military 6-0

#8 San Jacinto-South defeats #9 Chattanooga State 1-0

#4 Grayson defeats #13 John A. Logan 6-0

#5 Wallace State defeats #12 Chipola 5-0

#6 Seminole State (OK) defeats #11 Odessa 1-0

#3 Florida Southwestern State defeats #14 Central Alabama 13-3 (5 innings)

#10 Three Rivers (MO) defeats #7 Yavapai (AZ) 7-4

#2 Butler (KS) defeats #15 Trinity Valley (TX) 10-2
