The Arizona Cardinals selected Tulsa LB Zaven Collins with the 16th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft

CLEVELAND, Ohio ( KYMA, KECY-TV ) - With the 16th selection in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals selected linebacker Zaven Collins from the University of Tulsa. It wasn't a selection many Cardinal fans were too pleased with. That's because it marks the second year in a row the Cardinals selected a LB in the opening round. Collins is 6'5 and weighs 260 pounds, a freak of nature athletically. The Cardinals had other needs but felt Collins was far too good to pass up. Collins projects to play inside linebacker for the Cardinals along side last years first rounder Isaiah Simmons.
